Within the circular economy, each component needs to be repairable, reprocessable or dismanatable in order for us to use the parts in another way. Open standards and the deployment of open source hardware make this possible and is unavoidable if we want to make worthwhile progress. This is how it works:
- Submissions are to be made online and should be no longer than 2 years old. Deadline – 31.08.2018
- Evaluations will be made from a collection of 12 jury members, which represent an interdisciplinary group Deadline: 01.10.2018
- Award Ceremonies are tentatively planned for the 09.11.2018
This contest is open to Austrian residents who have created open hardware solutions that make a social difference. If you know of anyone who qualifies, don’t hesitate to pass on the word.
