Value creation in the Circular Economy

On the 4th of February 2020, Edinburgh Business School will host a workshop at Heriot-Watt University in partnership with the Scottish Institute for Remanufacturing. The theme of the workshop is Value Creation in the Circular Economy, where Prof Umit Bititci will present the interesting findings of a SIR-funded project in partnership investigating what drives value in repair and remanufacturing businesses. Alex West from the North Sea Decommissioning Group and doctoral researcher Melissa Marques will also present. The programme is as follows:

9:00 – 9:30: Registration and coffee

9:30 – 10-55: Value creation in repair and remanufacturing businesses

10:55 – 11:10: Coffee break

11:10 – 11:50: Circular economy and value

11:50 – 12:30: Decommissioning in the North Sea

12:30 – 14:00: Lunch & Networking
