The objective of the programme is to support companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina to increase their productivity, improve their resource efficiency (water, energy, raw materials), minimize pollution and improve the working conditions of their employees. The programme therefore contributes to sustainable industrial development, employment and income generation and contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These activities contribute to and are in line with EU directives and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project, funded by the government of Slovenia, is managed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in cooperation with local institutions and partners, such as Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, with the support of national and international experts.
