Center for Energy, Environment and Resources – CENER21

Center for Energy, Environment and Resources (CENER21) is a non-governmental not for profit organization established in the year 2006 with the mission to contributing to sustainable development in South East Europe. CENER21 works directly with key stakeholders from international organizations, government, industry and local authorities deploying technical expertise in the areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation, resource efficiency and cleaner production, nature conservation and biodiversity, energy efficiency and renewable energy. The organization develops and implements projects and solutions of national and regional importance applying sound knowledge, engaging stakeholders and employing policy dialogue. CENER21 recognizes the move towards circular economy as a key contributor to sustainable growth. Our organization helps policy makers in the region to develop, promote and implement innovative market-based solutions to major resource efficiency, climate and energy issues that balance both environmental and economic interests. Our Circular Economy initiatives up to date are: RECP, CE Tourism and Green Entrepreneurship.
