CEC Sydney Goterra Tour: Tackling Food Waste with Insects

Circular Economy Club Sydney is excited to partner with circular economy pioneers Goterra, for a behind-the-scenes tour of their cutting-edge facility in Barangaroo.

You’ll see a world-first project using AI, robotics and insect larvae to process food waste. With limited spots available, register your place today!!

Hidden in the basement of the Lendlease building, Goterra’s unit processes a high volume of commercial and retail food waste at Barangaroo using black soldier fly larvae. The waste is converted into high-quality insect protein and soil conditioner in a silent unit.

Tour details:

• There will be two tour times where Goterra will take two small groups: 5:15PM and 6:00PM
• Attendees to meet outside Winghaus Barangaroo bar and be taken on a 40 minute tour to the Goterra facility
• The tour will end back at Winghaus with time for 15 mins of questions before the next tour starts
• Attendees are welcome to stay at the bar afterwards to connect with other attendees (drinks to be purchased separately)
