Set up a CEC ZoomCafé & chat with other CEC Members
CEC is excited to bring you a space to engage informally with other members online, to be able to connect and catch up with others in the circular economy field. We believe that informal chats and interactions are key to innovate ideas, to network, and meet others where potential collaboration and future partners can flourish.
The CEC ZoomCafe is designed to be a one stop link for all CEC Members wishing to join the conversation. A calendar of CEC ZoomCafé events will be shown below with their date/time and CEC Members are able to click on the link below to enter.
How it works:
- Think about the topic and what you would like to talk about with other CEC Members (this is not a webinar, it would be a conversational topic about the circular economy in an informal structure)
- Fill in the form below and set the day and hour (GMT 0+) that you are available to speak.
- The CEC team will review the submission and add your CEC ZoomCafé event to the calendar below.
- Share this page including your CEC ZoomCafé date/time information. You can share on your CEC dashboard, on a CEC Chapter group, the CEC LinkedIn group and CEC Facebook group so that other team members can see when it is and can join.
- On your CEC ZoomCafé date/time, grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the CEC ZoomCafé to see other CEC Members who would show up to have a chat.

Being a member of CEC has enabled me to find some interesting organisations and individuals also involved in pursuing work in the area of circular economy and discuss collaboration ideas. The CEC is therefore a great way to connect with like minds and discover new opportunities.
The international source of connections in the field
The Circular Economy Club has been a great help to me as a way of connecting with other circular economy professionals. I was introduced to author and consultant, Catherine Weetman, whose excellent book, “A Circular Economy Handbook for Business and Supply Chains: Repair, Remake, Redesign, Rethink”, I had seen on the CEC website. Catherine and I are now working together to roll out interactive workshops for organisations who are looking to put circular principles into practice.
An empowering and enriching opportunity
I would like to thank all the CEC Global Team for their precious and dedicated work. Being part of a network of global Circular Economy practitioners as well as the amazing City Organisers Community has been an empowering and enriching opportunity. I am immensely thankful for all the information collected on the CEC platform which provides a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration. Without the global backup and support, it would not have been possible to built momentum on the Circular Economy in Singapore to this extent.
Extremely supportive
The Circular Economy Club has created a huge impact on a global scale by creating an active group of circular economy professionals in a single network. They have hosted insightful and education events on key topics, and have been extremely supportive when trying to help members find solutions, partners or insights for their circular economy initiatives. The role of organisations such as CEC is vital if we are to move towards a circular economy in the future.
A true collaborative approach with clear added value
Excitement was paramount during the Circular Economy Mapping Week, as CEC offered a real opportunity to not only have the regional experts talk to each other but it also gave them an opportunity to showcase what is being done in our dynamic region while gaining expertise from other cities around the globe. I commend the work CEC is doing through the Mentors program
It is crucial for those of us who have been studying our economies for decades, to transmit our knowledge to the leaders of tomorrow. I commend the work CEC is doing through the Mentors program and therefore I am showing my support by being a Guest Mentor.
Decentralised bottom-up actions with “out of the box” thinking
The CEC team did a great job putting the circular economy on the map, locally and globally. Mostly having been a decentralised bottom-up action one can see the diversity and creativity in approaches, which is what we need at uncertain times; ‘out of the box’ thinking with no prescribed solutions or specific interest groups pushing the agenda! A much-needed initiative, thanks to the Circular Economy Club!
CEC drives real actions
CEC has worked for me as a strong channel where to show the compromise on the circular future, to have the possibility of meeting other circular advocates and to connect/exchange knowledge and supply demands with the right partner or collaborator. I surely recommend all circular economy supporters to become a member at CEC platform, thus making our voice stronger, spreading our ideas further, and creating a force for change in a broader global group, driving so real applications and actions.
