Sign up to become a CEC Organizer and join this CEC Global Event by organize a screening of
the 1st circular economy documentary worldwide!
During 4-10 March 2019, the Circular Economy Club (CEC) will be screening "Closing the Loop". Closing the Loop is the world’s first feature-length documentary film on the circular economy.
In support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (especially Goal 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production), the documentary explores five key strategies for achieving circularity – reduce, reuse, recycle, renew and reinvent – by showcasing examples from Europe, Latin America and Africa and featuring insights from experts from the likes of the World Economic Forum and the Universities of Cambridge and Harvard.
About the Presenter: Prof. Wayne Visser
Prof. Dr Wayne Visser holds the Chair in Sustainable Transformation and is Professor of Integrated Value at Antwerp Management School. He is also Fellow of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. His work as a strategy analyst, sustainability advisor, CSR expert, futurist and professional speaker has taken him to 74 countries in the past 30 years and has worked with over 150 clients.

Why host a screening
Do you want to educate you local community in how circular economy works in practice? You can now host a CEC Global Screening of "Closing the Loop" and bring real-life examples to circular economy enthusiasts. We encourage you to shape your own discussion on this topic and simultaneously with other global hosts bring focus on the importance of circular economy models.
"By screening Closing the Loop, you are contributing to the rising tide of education and action on the circular economy. After 30 years of working in sustainability, I am convinced that transformative change happens through social movements when momentum steadily builds until it reaches a tipping point. We welcome all who want to be part of this revolution in the making, by helping us to go beyond awareness of the problems and to showcase solutions from around the world." Prof. Dr. Wayne Visser, Presenter and Co-producer, Closing the Loop
