CIRCULAR ECONOMY CLUB Liverpool City Region:
‘A place where nothing is wasted’ Event, 3rd September 2018
CEC Liverpool City Region is organising ‘A place where nothing is wasted’ event. The event will expand your understanding of waste as a lost resource and increase your knowledge of how a circular economy approach for the Liverpool City Region can be good for people, the planet and profits.
This will also be an opportunity for you to network with other circular economy enthusiasts and professionals and get you thinking about how your organisation can contribute to a local circular economy.
CEC Liverpool City Region brings to you an informal atmosphere and the opportunity to socialise with circular economy professionals that will enlighten you about the benefits of a circular economy for the Liverpool City Region or how to integrate the circular economy model into business plans and to develop collaborative projects.
During the session, you will discover and learn about,
- How to slow, narrow and close material and energy loops and;
- The benefits of longer-lasting design, extended maintenance and repair, opportunities to reuse, remanufacture and refurbish and how to increase recycling so that waste is ultimately reduced
- What are others doing?
- Collaborations?
At the end of the session you will understand:

- Be aware of what others are doing.
