Barcelona Circular City

Barcelona joins the Circular Cities Week launched by CEC by bringing together agents from 4 sectors in the first edition of Barcelona Circular City: mobility, construction, fashion and food & drinks.

We call on representatives of organizations and institutions from the public and private sectors in order to meet and identify the main challenges, strategies and next steps needed to turn Barcelona into a circular city.

Four work groups will be created, one per sector. Each group will consist of 8 – 10 representatives of organizations and will count on a facilitator, an expert in circular economy, who will guide the group and ensure that the objectives of the session are met.

The conclusions and results of the meeting will be part of a free access report with the results of all the cities participating in the CCW, thus providing a photograph of the strategies to be followed in 80 cities around the world.

Barcelona Circular City is aimed at those organizations that have integrated the circular economy into their corporate or institutional strategies and that are willing to contribute with their visions and experiences to build the path towards a circular Barcelona.

Participating in Barcelona Circular City is only possible by prior invitation.
