  • Are you ready to take your circular business beyond your home country borders to help further the global transition towards circularity? It can be difficult to navigate where to start with so many places to choose from. Perhaps the furthest away, but closest in spirit, Australia is an ideal first choice!

According to the CSIRO, “Australia’s circularity rate is 5.4 per cent. This highlights a significant economic opportunity to build Australia’s circular economy, reduce waste, grow the economy and jobs, and reduce adverse environmental and health impacts from waste production and disposal.”

Australia realises that to meet its circular economy ambitions (such as meeting the national resource recovery target of 80% by 2030), it must cooperate and form key international partnerships for Circular Economic cooperation.

Come along and hear from key stakeholders such as the:

    • Australian Ambassador to the Netherlands
    • Australian Trade & Investment Commission (AusTrade)
    • Invest Victoria
    • Metasus and the WasteBAN mission

They’ll share resources and talk about the status of Australia’s waste crisis following China & Indonesia’s ban on imported household waste, Australia’s circular economy targets and opportunities for your business to get involved.

There will be time for a Q&A session following the presentation, so be sure to come with all of your burning questions!

This event is perfect for Dutch circular economy entrepreneurs considering international expansion, seeking to leverage this opportunity for international circular economic growth. This event is running as part of the Netherlands’ Week van de Circulaire Economie, however, all with an interest are welcome.

Can’t make it on the day? No worries! This event will be recorded.

We hope to see you there!
