EREK Austria workshop, 22nd of October – Let’s help SMEs to go circular - October 22, 2018

On Monday 22nd of October, the European Resource Efficiency Knowledge Centre will hold a workshop in Vienna, Austria, on the topic of SMEs, circularity and Cluster organisations .

The workshop will be interactive and address topics related to cluster management, corporate support services, best environmental management practices, and tools for improving resource efficiency and circularity within companies. The objectives of the workshop are:

• To enable networking and engage cluster organisations into EREK and related resource efficiency/circular economy activities.
• To raise awareness and enable cluster organisations to offer resource efficiency support services and tools in their sector activities.
• Build capacity in resource efficiency, share knowledge and experience in the circular economy in the context of daily business.
• Use synergies within different EU-projects and activities.

The main group of participants shall consist of European Cluster Organizations willing to offer resource efficiency support services as well as business support organisations and professionals involved in resource efficiency and the circular economy.

The workshop will be co-hosted by Business Upper Austria and Interreg-Project “Moveco”.
