The event, moderated by Karin Helmstaedt, TV host and presenter on Germany’s international broadcaster Deutsche Welle, has an array 18 confirmed interdisciplinary speakers, from Europe and around the world, ranging from the Global Water Partnership to IBM, to the Chief Resilience Officer for Milan, all addressing how we can achieve water security.
In addition to gaining the latest knowledge on water security, the day offers multiple networking opportunities with:

????Future leaders networking with future leadersOur Future Water is a Partner Institution of the Berlin Science Week. The BERLIN SCIENCE WEEK is an international gathering, bringing together people from the world’s most innovative scientific institutions in Berlin.
In 2017, BERLIN SCIENCE WEEK hosted 57 events with more than 15,000 people attending various festivals, conferences, panel discussions or workshops.
Our Future Water has itself entered into a Knowledge Partnership with the World Bank’s Connect4Climate, a global partnership program launched by the World Bank and the Italian Ministry of the Environment, together with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, that takes on climate change by promoting solutions and empowering people to act.
Our Future Water is founded by Robert Brears, Author of Urban Water Security (Wiley), The Green Economy and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus (Palgrave Macmillan), Blue and Green Cities: The Role of Blue-Green Infrastructure in Managing Urban Water Resources (Palgrave Macmillan), Natural Resource Management and the Circular Economy (Palgrave Macmillan), and Climate Resilient Water Resources Management (Palgrave Macmillan) and Founder of Our Future Water, Mitidaption, and Mark and Focus.
