Circular Economy in the Indonesian Agricultural Sector

This first edition of CE in the Indonesian Agricultural sector gives an overview the concept of circular economy in general. It explains the difference between a linear model and circular model. After that, in this edition a start is made explaining what CE can do in the agri sector. Indonesia produces an abundance of tropical fruits, vegetables, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, corn, soy, spices, and therefore it also produces a lot of waste. What can be done with the waste and what is the role of CE?

We explore this theme with examples from the field. Case studies are presented from start ups dealing with different kinds of waste from different commodities.
