  • To date, we have diverted over 1.6 mil IT assets from landfill/incineration, and offset 500,000+ metric tonnes of CO2e. Our Green4Good program is the first worldwide to generate verified carbon credits through our refurbishment and resale process for corporate IT assets. This circular solution achieves the three pillars of sustainability – revenue generating, environmentally positive, and integrated to promote community development. We are a certified B Corporation and a member of the United Nations Global Compact.

Businesses can trade in their End-of-First-Life Technology™ for value back and carbon credits, diverting assets from landfills/incineration. The program is able to capture residue value by giving used tech new life through refurbishment, where renewed technology is sold on secondhand markets. We have been able to pass on this recovered value to the businesses and the community (to date, we’ve raised CAD $3.2 million for local charities such as First Book Canada, Massey Centre for Women, and the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness).

Our self-generated carbon credits are verified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) where facilitating the secondhand technology market reduces the need to produce brand new devices and their associated emissions. We’ve worked with a number of environmental consultants to ensure that these emissions reductions are meaningful and based on rigorous calculations. These carbon credits are provided to businesses who trade-in their used technology so that they can be recognized for their recycling efforts.
