Paint360 Ltd was established in the UK in 2013 to ethically tackle the huge issue of waste paint disposal. It is estimated by DEFRA that around 55 million litres of paint are thrown away each year in the UK alone. Traditional disposal routes included incineration and landfill which are both extremely wasteful and not best practise.
Paint360 receive waste paint from Household Waste Recycling Centres, contractors and retail centres which is re-engineered back into an award winning range of emulsion paints with a minimum 60% recycled content depending upon product. This paint is then sold back into social housing, facility management and construction through the UK’s largest builder’s merchants or direct.
Paint360 has a strong focus on creating local jobs for local people, particularly young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who have found it difficult to access the employment market.
Paint360 has the ability to work with its customers to develop tailor made products satisfying the growing demand for sustainably sourced products promoting circular economy.
