Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce is a not for profit-making organisation with a Council and Board elected from the private sector. We are focused on improving the prosperity and opportunities of the people of Staffordshire and our local communities, through supporting start-up and growing businesses. We have over 1,400 members and work annually with 4,700 companies. We are highly visible in the local area with working relationships and links fostered through our service provision and project delivery.
We would like to open a CEC for businesses across Staffordshire in order to raise awareness of the circular economy and its benefits.
We will undertake a SWOT analysis of the circular economy in Staffordshire to identify the areas that need development and any gaps in the understanding and implementation of the CE.
We’re hoping to hold 4 events throughout the year, each with a focus on a particular area, whether it be the EV infrastructure, waste and recycling, how start-ups can build the CE into their business activities, etc.
