  • Description

Raw materials, most of which are imported and subject to important price and supply fluctuations, account for 50% of product manufacturing costs. On the other hand, 80% of the environmental impacts are determined during the building, service and product design stage. Given the difficulties, the European Commission has developed a market and legislative instruments to be deployed regionally and nationally. This event, co-organised by the European Resource Efficiency Knowledge Network – EREK, seeks to answer questions such as: Do you know where your competitors are doing? Have the business risks of not acting or adapting early been assessed? Do you know the implications of these challenges for your company?

The objectives of the event are to:

    • Understand how the sustainable model of the circular economy and resource efficiency can improve both environmental impact and drive competitive benefits.
    • Share the instruments of the European Commission and the driving forces behind the Circular Economy of the European Union.
    • Detect opportunities for your business based on results, understanding the barriers and learning from the experiences of ground-breaking companies.

You can have a look at the draft agenda in the attachments below.
