  • The Disruptive Innovation Festival is an online festival of ideas that asks the question: what if we could redesign everything? During the DIF, we’ll be asking our speakers to tell us what they think is in store for the future of the economy. While watching you can chip in with your thoughts and questions: sign up for a free My DIF account and ask your question through the discussion forum below the live stream!

All physical products that surround us are made from a material. It is the material that gives the product its tactile qualities. If you want to be part of designing the physical man-made world, you need to know about materials.

In this presentation, we will bring you on a virtual tour of Material Design Lab at KEA – Copenhagen School of Design and Technology. We will:

    – Introduce some of the commercially available materials from our library that we think are interesting for the future of design.

    – Talk about the challenges and barriers that designers face when it comes to materials and circular economy.

    – Introduce you to the interdisciplinary way we work with materials and design in our lab.

Ask Mette your questions on Wednesday (November 22nd, 10:00 GMT) by visiting this page.
