Every year a call for admission will be issued, stating the number of available positions and fellowships (including grants from private/public centers and/or companies). Some of the fellowships may be reserved to foreign and or to candidates working for one of the supporting companies. The selection process includes the evaluation of the curriculum and of a research project and an interview (which can take place remotely (i.e. using skype). Foreign students should add two reference letters to their application.
The PhD Programme lasts three years.
During the first year the PhD candidate will follow courses designed to provide interdisciplinary competences in the field. In the second year the student is expected to start working intensively on her/his thesis. In the third year the student will have to finalize the disseration and prepare for the viva.
Courses during the first year will be articulated in the following three building blocks:
- Principles of Circular Economy
- Understanding innovation for the CE
- Developing the solutions for the CE
